Instruction & Learning Pathways

  • Why is a hybrid of online and in-person learning not being considered?

    Posted by:

After wide community and stakeholder input, BCSD administration’s recommendation for re-opening schools is what we believe is in the best interest of our students for the following reasons:

In-person instruction is completely voluntary for those students whose families choose to send their students to school, and a robust virtual school option will be available for all who choose not to return to in-person instruction. The self-selection approach significantly reduces the number of students physically in schools, maximizes instructional time, and does so based on individual consideration and determination.
